Established in 2001, SELFHOOD Educational and Service Nonprofit Ltd. operates as an independent, highly qualified professional entity dedicated to the advancement of the agricultural sector. At the core of our institutional mission lies a steadfast commitment to sustainable rural development and comprehensive biodiversity conservation.

Research and institutional partnerships

Guided by profound academic expertise and robust collaborative research frameworks with prominent institutions — including the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE) and the Banat University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine — we effectively bridge the gap between rigorous scientific research and practical agricultural application.

Over the past two decades, our organization has successfully designed and implemented more than 80 national capacity-building initiatives, while consistently providing high-level strategic policy consultancy for the Hungarian Chamber of Agriculture.

International innovation

In strict alignment with modern global trends, SELFHOOD actively participates in cutting-edge international innovation consortia, including numerous Horizon 2020, Erasmus+ and EUREKA projects. Through these cross-border collaborations, we pioneer advancements in agricultural digitalization, regenerative agriculture, climate action planning, and the empowerment of youth and female entrepreneurs within the green economy.
